Ukwuani social media practitioner, Edike Kingsley Eluemunor, has emerged as a standout winner at the Delta State Social Media Summit, taking home ₦100,000 in recognition of his dedication and skill.
Edike, noted for being the first Ukwuani social media professional to achieve such recognition without political backing, emphasized that consistency and hard work have been key to his success. Despite remaining a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), he has maintained political neutrality, demonstrating that professional achievements can be independent of political affiliation.
“Indeed, consistency and hard work pays. Some of us are purely ready to put in all the efforts needed to get better,” Edike said.
He attributed his growth to mentorship from Patriots Dantes Odogwu, citing discipline and coaching as central to his achievements.
“The discipline and coaching I got from our own Daddy Patriots Dantes Odogwu is my guide and I will never deviate from them,” he stated.
Edike also highlighted his commitment to giving back to the community and supporting upcoming practitioners through mentorship.
“The next phase is the act of giving willingly and following the paths of every little help,” he said.
In addition to social media, Edike has successfully piloted Edike Garri Enterprise and #Edike_Farms, which he said have provided stability following the loss of his previous job.
“Piloting Edike Garri Enterprise and #Edike_Farms has been a great blessing. Without them, I would have been regretting losing my job at this point in time,” he added.
Edike extended gratitude to supporters, including Ogezo Kelly Oghenefego, Hrm Inari Desmond, and other disciples of his mentor, Dantes Odogwu.
The Delta State Social Media Summit, which convened influencers and practitioners across the state, has highlighted Edike’s achievement as an example of how discipline, mentorship, and entrepreneurial initiative can drive professional success.
