President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has directed Nigeria’s top security officials to immediately hunt down the terrorists responsible for the deadly attack on Kasuwan Daji and ensure they are brought swiftly to justice.

The directive, disclosed in a statement shared by the President, covers the Minister of Defence, the Chief of Defence Staff, the Service Chiefs, the Inspector-General of Police, and the Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS).

President Tinubu described the attackers as criminals who have tested the resolve of the nation, stressing that they must face the full weight of the law. He warned that anyone found aiding, abetting, or enabling the terrorists would also be prosecuted.

The President further ordered the urgent rescue of all abducted victims and the intensification of security operations around vulnerable communities, particularly those located near forests.

Calling for national unity, Tinubu urged Nigerians to stand together against terrorism, noting that only collective resolve can defeat insecurity and deny criminals any form of sanctuary.

He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to restoring peace to affected communities and offered prayers for those who lost their lives in the attack.
“May the souls of the departed rest in peace,” the President said.
