Onyeme, Aguariavwodo, Others Console Nzete Over Son’s Death

The Deputy Governor of Delta State, Sir Monday Onyeme, FCA, on Sunday led a delegation of top government functionaries on a condolence visit to the Chairman of Ndokwa West Local Government Council, Hon. Obi Nzete, over the death of his son, Pastor Chuks Nzete.

The delegation included Senator Emmanuel Aguariavwodo, Senior Political Adviser to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori; Hon. Pat Ajudua, Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development; Chief Patrick Ukah, Director-General of the Capital City Development Agency; and Sir Christopher Osakwe, Deputy Chief of Staff, Government House, Asaba.

Addressing the bereaved family, Sir Onyeme urged Hon. Nzete to accept the loss as the will of God, stressing the need to remain steadfast in faith despite the painful circumstance.

Similarly, Senator Aguariavwodo described the incident as an irreparable loss. He prayed for God’s comfort and strength for the family, noting that only divine grace could sustain them through the difficult period.

In his response, Hon. Nzete expressed appreciation to the Deputy Governor and his entourage for the show of solidarity and concern, stating that the family had accepted the reality of their fate.

The late Pastor Chuks Nzete was reported to have died at the age of 33.
