Ndokwa Youths Urged to Demand Leadership Change Amid Rising Concerns

A concerned Ndokwa stakeholder, Mr. Oliogu Lucky, has called on youths across Ndokwa Nation to unite and demand a new direction in leadership, citing growing frustration over unemployment and what he described as a lack of effective representation.

In a statement made available to Kwale Post, Oliogu expressed deep concern about the current state of affairs affecting young people in the region, emphasizing that the time has come for decisive action.
“We’re at a critical juncture. No jobs, no effective representation—it’s time we take action,” he stated.

He described Ndokwa youths as the backbone of the region and urged them to take responsibility for shaping the future by actively participating in leadership selection and governance processes.

According to him, the focus should be on electing leaders who possess the will and capacity to create employment opportunities, protect the interests of the people, and represent the community with dignity.
“We, the youth, are the backbone of Ndokwa Nation. Let’s unite and demand change. Let’s elect leaders who will fight for our rights, create jobs, and represent us with dignity,” he added.

Oliogu further stressed the need for unity and strategic engagement among young people, noting that collective action remains the most effective tool for achieving meaningful political and socio-economic reforms.
He called on youths to move beyond apathy and silence, urging them to organize, engage, and take ownership of the region’s development trajectory.

“We own this land; it’s time we take charge. No more excuses. No more silence,” he said.
The statement comes amid increasing conversations around youth inclusion, governance accountability, and economic empowerment in Delta State and across Nigeria.

Observers say such calls reflect a growing demand among young Nigerians for responsive leadership and sustainable development, particularly in regions with significant untapped human and economic potential.

Mr. Oliogu concluded his message with a rallying call for collective action, expressing optimism that Ndokwa youths can shape a better future for their communities if they remain united and proactive.
