Gov. Adeleke Invested as Patron of FRSC Special Marshals in Osun

Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, has been officially invested as the Patron of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Special Marshals in the state.

The investiture, performed by the State Sector Commander, Corps Commander Leye Adegboyega fsi, took place at the Government House Banquet Hall, Osogbo, in a ceremony attended by top government officials, FRSC leadership, Regular and Special Marshals, and other road safety stakeholders.

Commander Adegboyega said the recognition was in appreciation of the governor’s support for the corps and a step to further strengthen partnership in the fight against road crashes.

In his response, Governor Adeleke described the honour as a call to service. He pledged renewed commitment to the FRSC’s mission of saving lives and reducing traffic accidents across the state.

“This honour is a call to service. I pledge my renewed support for the FRSC’s mission of reducing road traffic crashes and saving lives across Osun State,” Adeleke said.

The event also featured goodwill messages from senior FRSC officers and representatives of Special Marshals, who assured that they would intensify collaboration with the state government to promote safer roads.

With Adeleke as Patron, the corps expressed optimism that road safety advocacy and enforcement in Osun will receive fresh momentum.
