The Federal Ministry of Petroleum Resources has authorized the deployment of an NSCDC team to the Niger Delta to enhance security and oversee investigations related to oil companies’ MOUs, Corporate Social Responsibility, and land grabbing issues. Three senior NSCDC officers have been assigned to liaise with state commands across the region.

Host landlords in Kwale and environs (Okpai, Beneku,Ogume, Aboh) are strictly instructed not to accept less than ₦3,000,000 per hectare from any oil company. Those who violate this directive will be removed from the official government landlords’ list and excluded from future payments.

In light of these developments, all landlords in the Niger Delta are required to attend a meeting tomorrow at Ogbe Classic Hotel, convened by Comr. Agi Bestman, Coordinator for Oil Companies MOU, CSR & Land Grabbing Investigations.

Landlords are urged to attend promptly and cooperate fully.
